Thanks to our specialised departments, we bring to life ideas that reflect the identity of our clients, going through several steps: from the initial request to the creation of the first sample within clear and agreed timelines.

Sustainability is the heart of our production process. We use recycled polyester certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) - ensuring the long-lasting durability of each label - alongside natural yarns such as cotton and silk. Our labels are certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CLASS 1, meaning they are harmless to human health and environmentally friendly, either in terms of materials or in manufacturing processes.

At Mion, we employ cutting-edge weaving techniques, blending innovation with a solid tradition of craftsmanship. Thanks to our CAD, R&D offices and 24-hour production departments, we transform ideas into woven labels. We offer our clients an almost unlimited range of options, starting with jacquard weaving solutions featuring a selection of 30 weaving types and 250 colours always available, along with bespoke dyeing services to create unique shades for each label.

Our finishing department offers a wide range of finishing and packaging options to give each label its final aspect, ready for application to garments. To guarantee excellence, we have enhanced our quality control systems - traditionally checked by our operators on every item - with AI-based automated technologies.

Fashion, leather goods, footwear, furniture, automotive are the main application areas of our woven labels. We are able to meet such a diverse demand thanks to our production capacity, which includes as many as 150 jacquard looms, divided into three categories, to offer excellent solutions in the creation of custom clothing labels, custom accessories for bags and leather goods.

Selvedge labels made on jacquard needle looms

Specifically designed for this kind of production, these looms allow for the creation of labels and tapes with woven selvedges which are particularly soft and ideal for clothing. This technology, particularly suitable for the production of high-quality knitwear labels, allows us to produce variants in 100% cotton and 100% silk.

Woven labels with shuttle looms

Shuttle looms produce lightweight labels and tapes with ultra-soft woven selvedges and a very clean background color, thanks to a special reverse construction that simulate a fine embroidery. This traditional weaving technique is recommended for special tailor-made production.
