A closed, protected and non-invasive system

The AI we use is a closed-loop, self-regulated and improvement-driven system that has no adverse effects on our clients. The product learning process and its outcomes are never transmitted or stored online, thus protecting Brands from any form of industrial espionage.

Local software, dedicated hardware only

The system operates exclusively on locally installed software, within dedicated hardware that is not connected to any internet network. It is a machine learning solution based on computer vision, using models of automatic learning and deep neural networks (deep learning) to interpret visual data and detect any faults in woven labels.

Human supervision as an active part of the process

Throughout the entire learning process, a trained operator supervises, verifies and classifies the images that build the software’s visual database. This ensures that AI does not take autonomous decisions, but rather operates in constant synergy with human expertise.

Data securely stored, never shared

The internal database collecting information on labels and tapes is securely stored within Mion Spa’s protected servers, and is never shared with third parties, ensuring maximum confidentiality.

Privacy always respected

In full compliance with current regulations, the AI systems used for quality control do not access or process any personal data belonging to our clients. They analyse only internal technical images relating to production, with no sensitive identification involved.
